It was another moment of joy and celebration for winners of the 2014 edition of the Etisalat Pan-African Prize for Innovation, when the 2 winners, Anthony Oniwon, the developer of Exammate Application, and Abdulganiyu Onabanjo the conceiver of IMID idea, were hosted to a media reception at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos, last weekend.
It was another moment of joy and celebration for winners of the 2014 edition of the Etisalat Pan-African Prize for Innovation, when the 2 winners, Anthony Oniwon, the developer of Exammate Application, and Abdulganiyu Onabanjo the conceiver of IMID idea, were hosted to a media reception at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos, last weekend.
The winners who were announced at the AfricaCom Awards Gala Dinner which held in Cape Town, South Africa, in November 2014, were also presented their prizes at the event.
The first prize of $25,000 for the Most Innovative Product or Service was presented to Exammate, an Exam preparatory programme for JAMB candidates, while the second prize of $10,000 for the Most Innovative Idea was presented to Interactive Media Interface Design (IMID), a remote communication interface for GPRS-enabled pre-paid meters.
The Etisalat Pan-African Prize for Innovation is a reflection of Etisalat’s reputation as the most innovative telecommunications brand in the country and it is aimed at encouraging and celebrating valuable innovation in the African market.
